Information Technology offers a four-year B.Tech Degree Course in the state of the art technology started in 1999. The Department is accredited by NBA and has an intake of 90, approved by AICTE Permanent Affiliation from Anna University Chennai. Accredited in 2007 (First time), Re-accredited in 2013 (Second time) for 2 years, Re-accredited third time in 2017 and Re-accredited fourth time in 2019 by National Board Accreditation, New Delhi & the accreditation status granted is valid upto 30.06.2022. Started offering M.E. in CSE with specialization in Networks in the year 2013 with an intake of 18. At present the intake is 9.

Our students are working in TBI- INFINITY UNIQUERS Consulting and Services within our campus. We have produced 53 University Rank Holders. Students had undergone Remote Project Mentoring program in Honeywell Technologies Solutions, Madurai. Symposium, National / International Conference, Project Exhibition, Workshop, Seminar conducted for getting recent technical exposures. Industry Visits and Inplant Training in Kodaikanal Solar Observatory, ISRO, BSNL, Doordharshan, Chettinad Cements, Tata Consultancy Services, Athena Health, etc. Every student has been a member in Special Interest Group (SIG).
We have an exclusive R&D Lab. One faculty member is recognized as research supervisors by Anna University for guiding Ph.D / M.S. Scholars. Received funds from MSME for student projects. Faculty members are constantly publishing research papers in National and International Journals/Conferences. Faculty members are doing consultancy Projects in India and Abroad.
